Dear Gabriella:

The year is 2008 and are we ready for an african american president or female president? I think that we are ready for change but will that world accept the change. Will the war suddenly end or will it take four more years? How much will change? Will gas price go down? I really need that last question to happen fast or even first. It is time for us to make history and to vote in record numbers. Recently I learned that African American do not have the right to vote it is a privilege. So that mean when ever congress wants to take that privilege they can. Do we live in the 1960s or what? I want to know when will be the day that we will be equal?

On this issue we need to educate, educate and then educate. Consider this:
"If humans and chimpanzees are over 98% identical base-for-base, how do you make sense of the fact that chimpanzees have 10% more DNA than humans? That they have more alpha-hemoglobin genes and more Rh bloodgroup genes, and fewer Alu repeats, in their genome than humans? Or that the tips of their chromosomes contain DNA not present at the tips of human chromosomes? Obviously there is a lot more to genomics than just nucleotide substitution. But the percentage comparison renders that fact invisible, and thus obscures some of the most interesting genetic questions."

So which human is more superior to another?

Dear, confused,mad and sad.

I feel we need a change but what change Iam not sure. But, education is the key to all. I feel a women president could do just as good a job as a man. Heck we (us women) look at things in all different ways. Men look at things in one way and with one thing!!!
In my eyes we are all equal. It is ashame that many people look through foggy classes at the world we live in. And several people would be very surprised to find out where they really come from/who their ancestors really are.
Will the war stop. I really do not think so. Remember ignorance is a hard thing to break/change. And I would love it if the gas prices would go down.

It's not about wheater or not it going to be a women president or a Afro American president. It's about whether or not they can handle the job. Most of all get the job done and take us out of this recession were in.

yours, truely

We will never be equal in life because others won't allow it to become that way. I'm not sure about a black being president because that might not turn out to be whats best for our country. We really need somebody who can fix this war whether they are black or white. Race doesn't matter it's all about who will stick to their words and make things in this world better.
