Dear Gabriella
I have a problem with my child's father and his wife. Whenever there is a concern with our child and communication with me and the father is warranted, his wife does not want me to talk to him directly, but to talk to her and she supposedly passes on the message. I think this is ridiculous! I don't see the harm in talking to him when it concerns our son. She tired this before but it created animosity between me and the father and I later found out she lied to him. I tried to explain to him but he don't believe me. He believes I'm the one who creates the problems, so I stop all communications with him. The wife still calls me every now and then as if she's concern about us. I don't want to talk to her because she creates problems with me and the father and even with his family. How should I address this?

KEEP THE DISTANCE! EVERYTHING COMES TO FULL CIRCLE
Let him find out on his own that his new girlfriend is the problem. Keep your distance because if he doesn't want to talk about yall son then he's the one that's missing out. Enjoy all your special moments with your son and in due time he'll try to come around to be a father to his son. Some men are just plain old idiots!!!
I have the same problem with my childrens father. we have been seperated/divorce for over 18 years. He has been married twice since then. His second wife was not very nice but she did not have a problem with him and I talking. However, his third wife is a different story. Thier father and I got along great, she could not understand why I could be so nice to him/her. So she has created this wall between us, she has lied and he stands by what she says. So I have stopped calling him I do not send those email updates/pictures of the kids. It is his lose.
SO step back, it is his lose. And if she calls you tell her that if your sons father wants to know anything about your son then he should call. She has no reason to call you. She was not there when he was conceived. Sharon Sweatt
